Cruise Diet :D

So for our cruise at the end of November I have decided to go on a diet/new work out plan. Starting tomorrow November 1st, I will not eat any fast food, no junk food, pop, or candy and I will work out for at least 30 minutes every day. Cardio and toning- I don't necessarily want to lose weight just get more toned and get ready for the Mexican Riviera :) I will try and update a lot so I cant cheat.
Yay for cruises :)

Stupid Economy :(

So tonight as I was working a very handsome older man comes in and I was all excited thinking that he was booking a room for him and his wife on some fun vacation. Then he asked me if we were hiring and said he's looking for a job. My pay is pretty crappy and this job isn't very glamorous, but this guy was so desperate to help out his family that he wanted to work here. I'm going to say it I hate the economy right now and I hate that Thiokal is laying everyone off. It is not fair, why did I do to deserve such a job that I like so much. I'm definately going to be praying for this guy and all the other ones like him. People deserve better from our government, it's heart breaking.

LUCKY ME :)

So many good things have been happening in my life and this is a great way to share. My last blog about how nervous I was about my hair, well it turned out GREAT! The soccer team and coaching is going awesomely and I've picked up a new hobby. I am getting really into DIY projects. Currently I am stenciling- yes you read that right, a wall in our house. Made my own stencil and own design I will post before and after pictures soon. I'm so inspired by the people who get hideous things at the DI and transform it into the most stand out amazing piece you've ever seen! So that is my next project, and my birthday is this month and the cruise is next month could things get much better? Yes by winning the state championship :) the end

Soccer Update :D

So as most of you know I coach the high school girls soccer team with my dad and the coolest person ever Jordi. The season started off pretty average losing to some decent teams and winning some decent teams well in region we have our game faces on and are kicking some butt. The first half of our region is over and we came out 4-1 beating Judge Memorial, Ben Lomand, Grantsville, and Morgan and losing to the defending state champs Juan Diego. The second half is rolling around and played Judge on Thursday. It was 0's going into half time they scored almost immediately, and we followed with a breakaway from Josie Payne she shot and got the rebound and passed it to Sarah Huber for a lay in. It was great! Then with 30 seconds left in the game, my sister Kaitlyn got a breakaway and put it right under the keepers arm for the win- it was AMAZING to put it mildly. The girls work hard and there are a few things we need to even out before play offs and before playing Juan Diego again, but it's shaping out to be another great season in BR Girls Soccer!

New Hair...

So I've been wanting to do something big with my hair lately but I've always wanted long hair for my wedding. Disclaimer: this is NOT saying I'm going to get married soon but hair takes a long time to grow out and get the length I want it- thanks. So I have a few color ideas to do to it. I think right my hair is looking really fake and not really a natural color because it is soo blonde. So I'm wanting to darken it up because of the winter months coming but still stay blonde. There was an episode of shear genius that was my inspiration. Here are the pics tell me whatcha think!

I LOVE her hair love it love it but since my hair is longer it would look something like this one.

I would still keep some blonde high lights on top but just more of a golden natural color! :D

Kelci Maree Little

So this is going to be one of many of my "thankful" posts, just of people in my life that I am extra thankful for for some reason or another. The reason I am writing this now is because Kelci recently broke her face, poor girl. She was playing keeper and a girl kneed her in the face! She was unconscious for a while and ended up breaking her cheek bone. She had surgery on it this last week the cut her eye brow, her lower eye lashes and her mouth to get 3 plates in there so her face would grow back normal- painful much?!

I first met Kelci my first Sunday in Iowa, her second. I was sitting next to her relief society. I was doodling (kinda bored) and I was writing Amanda loves Soccer. Next thing I knew she started drawing me a picture that said Kelci loves Amanda, she is an incredible doodler artist. It was so precious!! These are the top ten reasons (in no specific order) why I love Kelci so much!

1.She is a non-grudge holder. She realizes that everything in life that happens (even stupid first kisses) happen for a reason and she is never bitter or mad towards the person.

2. She is the only person I have ever planned out my entire wedding with. This happened while we were bored the spring semester in Iowa. We had a blast!!! We have such different styles and tastes it is a wonder how we're such good friends.

3. She is always concerned for others. I know she gets this from her mom (who is so so awesome). I texted her after I heard about her accident and she talked a little about what happened then said and I quote "So how is your life :)" SWEETHEART!

4. She is the only person I have ever met who loves the colors of the rainbow-together-all of them.

5. I hate sleeping alone in a room so when my roommate chose the couch over her bed Kelci was sweet and went way out of her way to come and stay many nights with me.

6. We sing!!! Although I am awful I am not afraid to belt it out with her, and she is the same although she's better than me. We love singing at the top of our lungs. I've always been way too self conscious to do this with anyone else.

7. She has the whitest most prettiest natural hair color on earth.

8. She has a way of telling the future. We were in Iowa headed to institute and she said I have never heard you cry. of course, in institute I get called on about my week (my grandpa had just died) and I burst into tears!

9. She is the best goal keeper I have ever seen in my LIFE!!!

10. She was my best friend in Iowa and definately one of my favorite people of all time! Get back to Utah girl.

and
p.s. eventually we WILL be roommates!

Reading...what a life saver!

So this week I don't know how I did it but from the library I checked out and read the best two books I have ever read, in the same WEEK! They are amazing clean wonderful books that I would reccommend to anyone.

#1 Methods of Madness- this one is a mystery and so intense. I seriously woke up in the middle of the night so that I could read some more!

#2 Previously Engaged- this book is hilarious. I rarely lough at loud at books and this one had me going awesome awesome!

I finished these books both in two days they are incredible :D

The First One!

So I have tried loads of times to create a blog but have never really figured it out. I love to read other peoples so I figured this would give my friends a little update and me some stress relief time. It will probably be really boring :) haha
